Services: As a lifelong equestrian with more than 25 years of full time professional training and teaching experience, Jürgen has gathered extensive knowledge educating all types of horses and riders. He has special expertise in developing relaxation and suppleness by teaching the horse to go forward slowly—always active, but relaxed and balanced. He works to improve the rider by focusing on the balance and use of the seat and teaching the theory of riding to develop tact and understanding. In this way, he has been successful in solving a wide variety of horse and rider related problems. A patient but demanding teacher, Jürgen excels in his ability to train horse and rider over stadium and cross country fences. He is equally comfortable and talented teaching flying changes, piaffe and passage. Jürgen enjoys teaching dressage and combined training to both riders who want to compete and riders who simply want to ride well. He follows a systematic classical training method with exercises chosen to build the suppleness, relaxation, strength and comprehension of both horse and rider varying, as needed, with the fitness and education of his students. He welcomes and enjoys students and horse of all ages and abilities as it gives him the opportunity to develop or maintain a focus on correct basics. His mission is to further the well being of the horse through the classical education of the horse and the rider. • Clinics for you and your horse Jürgen will come to your facility to conduct a dressage or combined training clinic. Clinics may be one to five consecutive days in duration. Half-day clinics may be available for nearby facilities. Clinic lessons are typically 45 minutes for private sessions, 1 hour for semi-private or groups of three riders. Contact us for fees and related information. • Coaching for you at a show Jürgen regularly takes a variety of students to dressage and combined training shows.
